Healing from Sexual Addiction

There is much the Church fathers and contemporary psychology can say about sexual addiction.  Twelve Step groups of Sexaholics Anonymous (SA), Sex and Love Addicts Anonymous (SLAA) and Sex Addicts Anonymous (SAA) offer practical and spiritual principles that mirror what orthodox Christianity teaches.  The important thing to remember that there is hope and there are many who have recovered following certain steps.  Is the path easy?  No.  You probably already no that, but "addicts" want quick fixes.  This is why we see advertisements, "Lose 40 pounds in 10 days."  The very issue that the food addict or sex addict suffers from, that is a quick fix for feelings, is not the path of healing.  The healing process is long and difficult, but if one is tenacious they will be healed.    We will look at what the symptoms and core issues of the sex addict and the process of healing.
